Several observations relating to Ceefax since the move to the Broadcast Centre:

- The "regional" generator (green P152) seems to have moved over, but not the one BBC2 was using up to Christmas;

- The end still has vanished - but the page numbers were shamefully out of date;

- Since the start of 2005 only the minidisc compilations have been aired. No more random track antics!

With VE Day on Sunday, some of us were hoping for period music (as in 1985 and 1995), but it was not to be. Still, nice to see Becky hasn't lost her enthusiasm for Ceefax - although "for one night only" - is this really it folks?

Doesn't look like it!

If you check Digiguide you'll see there might be a gap on the morning of Monday 16th May from 01:35 after the film, as BBC ONE will be going to News 24 at 01:25.

Loving Becky's enthusiasm! Laughing I don't think we should trip her up on the "one night only" reference. More a case of PFC just not being shown that regularly!

By the way, I know I've moaned at the fact BBC One annos don't bother with a 'goodnight' but last night we got a "goodbye for now!"

I couldn't tell... did Becky say "Cottom" or "Cotton"? Did sound like Cottom to me, but wasn't sure.

Crikey - I was out last night, I've only just come across the whole Ceefax thing which got recorded. But I hope this isn't 'the end' for good!
