Don't know if this is the same as last years or not, but Red Bee Media have posted a picture on their website...

It is part of a story they have on their awards.

They won the award for last year's Christmas idents (pictured). Though I think it's expected they are going to reuse them.

Indeed - I've seen a promo for BBC Two Christmas which includes them.

I've seen several over the past week or so. Old news. Delete thread and/or merge with Christmas TV thread.

I'm not a big fan of the Christmas TV thread - such a big topic just to have one thread, and it's often just filled with Christmas adverts which many have no interest in.

As expected, BBC Two are reusing last years idents.

Didn't exactly blow the budget this year then, did we, BBC? BBC Two recycles their's and BBC One's is a cheap as chips snoozefest.

BBC Two reused their 2007 ident every year until last and both have actually been quite good. I don't mind them reusing it.

BBC One, mind...

I do think these are a bit more reusable than the previous set - think there are 3-4 variations IIRC and there is more going on in them too, plus they're a bit more festive than the paper cutouts. 2-3 years though should be the max.

My opinion hasn't changed, they're bloody brilliant and deserved a repeat run. Perfect BBC2 Christmas fit.

Nothing except a couple of promos on BBC Three, and the 8th year out for the BBC Four 'Ice' ident.
