I Really Hope this is what i think it is,the relaunche of the 97 idents!

I just tuned in and there it was, which I wasn't expecting as I hadn't read the forum at the time. It does surprise me that they are reusing old idents with the current logo - perhaps we will see some other classic BBC Two idents.

I think its just for the winter olympics...

IIRC this isn't an exact copy of Xmas 2000 with the new logo; the soundtrack has been changed.

I just noticed that the music is slightly different and it had clouds. It really does show up how dull the current '2's are now in my opinion.

Well when the sebsite ditches the yellow and white, and shows random 2's it cannot be taken for granted.

And as for the website, I really don't like it. I think it's the fact that it doesn't tie in with the BBC Two onscreen identity at all. And the header on the left hand-side. As someone's said - which is the logo, the numeral or the box?

I also feel the home page is a little empty, and the video box reminds me of the CiTV Website.

That ident is so much better than the current Winter ones.
