Not really impressed - I mean, fading page views? Animating background? Very sparse text?

The year is 1998... the designer is 15... it's like some horrible retro nightmare.

Wholly agree. Looks like Max's TV Planet. Or whatever it was called. Seems like they've taken a default theme from AOL Press, added some page transitions and ... that's about it!!

Absolutely terrible.

I'm sorry, but webpage fading was a tacky thing you could do in Frontpage about 8 years ago, why the hell are they using that?? It actually fails to fade at all, and stay completely white on some page refreshses in Firefox.

Apart from that i like it a lot.

Looks ok, nice to have something that looks a bit diffrent on BBC Online.

Dread to think what it's like on dial up though!

Why is it? Surely everything should fit in together!

Dear Potato

Thank you for your recent e-mail.

I understand that you do not like the new format of the BBC TWO website.

Please be assured that I have forwarded a copy of your e-mail directly to the website owner.

So hopefully they'll take a bit of notice and re-arrange a few things, or re-instate the old one.

I'll avoid being as blunt as Martin, but I suspect they might have taken you more seriously if you hadn't called yourself a tattie.

A) There's nothing wrong with being hopeful.

B) I used my real name and that's what they replied with. I replaced it for the purposes of this board because I'd perfer to keep my details private.
