"BBC TWO is changing"

This site is just confusing me.
Is there a new look coming to BBC Two?
Is it just the website has a seperate look?
Why the yellow and purple ignored, and the Blue and Green brought in?

I hate the "fade" effect when going through pages, its so slow on a larger res and so very gimmky. The whole section seems very slow now, and, very empty. Nit impressed.

I must say, I really don't like it at all...

It's awful.

I can't scroll properly (you have to have the mouse over some text or other content or my scroll wheel doesn't work)
It looks rubbish
It's too concentrated on 'watch again' stuff - if I want to watch tv, I'll turn on a tv!
It has less content than before
It has no links to BBC One, Three & Four

I don't like the new website, feels very basic, compared to the old one.

If you look at bbc.co.uk/2 bbc.co.uk/3 and bbc.co.uk/4 they are all predominantly light blue in colour - as is bbc.co.ukitself.

Perhaps a theme?

Not really impressed - I mean, fading page views? Animating background? Very sparse text?

There's so little content and although CSS can be great for designs, give me the old look with tables any day.

"2"s slapped around for no apparent reason. On the left hand side which is the logo? The 2 or the purple box? The channel heading looks like an afterthought.

And the design is totally out of touch with the channel branding which seems an odd choice.

erm. it's different.

I quite like the animated background, although that page fading thing is repulsive.

All seems a bit experimental at the moment. No doubt it'll be watered down soon enough. I wonder what they're saying over at POV...

The year is 1998... the designer is 15... it's like some horrible retro nightmare.

One word...yak!

That's awful! I though it was broken in Firefox until I checked in Safari and it looked the same. I can't begin to say what's wrong with it, for a start having the "2" there above the box in that fashion just looks sooo out of date already, there seems to be nearly no content at all, looks awful, the fading pages are like a **** Geocities effect, it's just awful.

Bring back the old site.
