Personally I'm not convinced with the boxless version although kudos to NI for unearthing a swathe of idents. Network have a treasure trove to choose from, why they insist on the same handful only they must know.
The box just needed to be the same size as the 50th and in line with the Subtitles. It's not difficult!

I can't believe they tried out that boxless version over 6 years ago... I feel old now! That only felt a couple of years ago!
Personally I agree with Asa and neither NI or Network have got them right. I feel the box used in the Christmas idents would work the most, that or having the logo stripped as per 1997 style but with 2007 typeface of course.
Either way I'm still glad that we get to see a revival of some excellent idents, no matter how they're executed.

Yes, the more I look at the Northern Ireland idents, I feel that a (white/black) logo box of the same proportion and position of the 50 Years version would be the best option here. The over-sized, badly positioned, teal box on the Network idents just doesn't work. And just scrap the 'Subtitles' indicator completely on the Network versions.
