BBC Two 2015 with 90s idents

One of the stings I remember the most is of a '2' spinning around in front a mirror, I believe it's called 'Ballet'. Would be really nostaglic if that appeared again!

Northern Ireland aired the Milk sting before What's The Right Diet For You? A Horizon Special.

It's depressing isn't it how the BBC had the freedom and resources to create all these fantastic stings in addition to their idents 20 years ago, and now it seems they don't even feel they can justify giving their second channel a new set of idents when it's in desperate needs of them.

...plus a rare outing for Black and White Copper Cut-Out.

I think there will be a rebrand after they decide what will happen with BBC 3. If 3 does close, then I imagine BBC 2 will go back to its original remit and a rebrand would reflect this. The old BBC 2 Idents are a very welcome stop gap, I'm loving them

Yes, that's right. Rightly or wrongly, I thought it was being reserved for black and white material, as was the case when it was first used (with The Beatles film 'A Hard Day's Night').

MMcG198, I checked BBC Two NI and I didn't see B&W Copper Cutout anywhere - just Predator and Diary. When did you see this?

Just checked and it was in fact in an earlier junction - 6.30pm, just before Michael Portillo's Railway programme.

Is there some more 1990s BBC2 stings that have popped up on TV tonight?

I know some BBC NI continuity names and also most/all the voices, but I can't match them up so I know who is who!
