BBC Two 2015 with 90s idents

I like the title of the new comedy, that's also modern!

Horrendous.

I thought they might've looked better on screen, but... nope.

How often are stings used on BBC Two? I just saw a Swan sting after Daily Politics.

Swings and roundabouts. Some days its non stop. Other days blink and your miss the only one used that day.

BBC2 meddles with Paint to make it multi-coloured, for use with CBBC on Saturdays. Looks cool. I won't create a double sub-thread, but to say check out the CBBC on Saturday thread.

Never knew they would mark the occasion of a Saturday morning kids’ show with the return of Paint.

Albeit with the likes of CBBC’s colours. Still looks nice after all these years.

Sure, BBC TWO’s presentation isn’t the best as it is right now, but it’s welcoming to see that they’re now leveraging more of the 90s idents with special themed programming, and the end result is still great, or even better.

There's a small glitch in the sequence, where the teal stripe spills over into the adjacent 2 stripes:

It can't have been the simplest task to recolour the original!

I can imagine the cries of the Junior Graphic Designer...

I suspect it wasn't that complex actually and that the glitch occurred during the (automated) re-encoding of the original footage, with the colour banding effect applied. The brief "flash" on the affected stripes is noticeable but mainly due to the fact that there's such a contrast between teal and the pink stripe in particular.
