I suspect not.
It has been used on rare occasions with the italic BBC logo, though. No reason not to think that would continue.

(the Shamrock Green colour scheme) at 9pm, leading into the second part of
Man In an Orange Shirt.

BBC2 Athletics coverage have been using Jean Michel Jarre's Equinoxe Track 5 when statistical graphics are being displayed. Great music, but a surprising choice given how old it is.

It used to be used by the BBC for the Olympics and athletics back in the mid 80s. I think it's being used for nostalgia reasons.

Series 15 gets an updated ident to reflect the two new Dragons on board:
More serious expressions with the opening shot than the previous version.
Maybe an opportunity to make one or two changes to the CGI aspect of the ident was missed? Unless I've missed something subtle, it appears identical.
