BBC Two 2015 with 90s idents

The fact it was introduced by a 90s ident couldn't have been more appropriate and certainly enough of a timewarp; has it been forgotten that the current idents aren't exactly, well, "current"?

I wondered if the colour ident before HIGNFY was the beginning of some sort of celebration of 50 years of colour television. Anniversary on July 1.

And some mention of the anniversary will surely be made during Wimbledon that day, as it was four hours of the Wimbledon tennis championships which were the first official colour broadcast.

Nice adaptation of the BBC2 Scotland logo on this trail for The Town That Thread Built, with a button in place of the 'O', and a needle.

You might be good idea to ask Cavan, he seems to be better at tracking this. Im sure a few of these idents appeared on Viemo.
