And the network playout had that annoying sound glitch as the audio changed from 5.1 to 2 channel at the beginning of the ident :/
Yes, it was dreadfully bad that audio glitch. All is not lost, however. Woodpecker sting was aired at the head of the junction, you haven't included it on your website. Well, you have a copy now without any particular aim of trying to capture it.
Oh, I see. you have them dispersed over your site. Fair enough.
Not so much dispersed, but just sitting within the original groupings as aired. I don't like to have too many duplicates if possible, and was in two minds whether to include the Swan sting (first returned in 2014) in the current miscellaneous section. As it was a fresh recording off network's HD output, rather than NI's SD, I did. Woodpecker will probably get the same treatment in due course.
I dont think Scotland had that sound glitch, i'll need to listen back to double check.
If the glitch is related to Dolby 5.1, then it'll only have been present on an HD channel - and since BBC Two Scotland is SD only, I'd imagine they were fine. The only sound issues on BBC Two Scotland are usually the announcers getting their timings wrong and consequently talking over the start of the programme.
