In reply to Cavan's post, shame they're working with the wonky endboard layout still. Copper would work brilliantly in the 2007 format:

That looks lovely. Would be a welcome change for BBC TWO to use that kind of menu compared to what they have, and could use something similar for trailer end boards instead of the horrible plain bright colours we have at the moment.

Aired before Daily Politics, obviously.

EDIT: Wave Day also aired before Daily Politics. Thankfully, it still retains the stencil alpha effect.

The lack of a BBC Radio 0 didn't help matters.

Off topic - there is/was a 'Radio 10' (which I don't think ever had a logo) which IIRC was supposed to be the BBC radio station in the event of a national emergency back in the 1970s/80s (Radio 1+2+3+4=10).

I thought that was an unofficial name for a joint service that went out during strike action, and was quickly stopped by management?

They are animated.

Why are they using the crappy white box on those menus when they've wisely ditched them for the idents. Would make more sense to keep the centred logo and then at least the text might have something to line up with.

Interesting that Copper Cut-Out has been used for the Next/Then graphic. That's one 90s ident that I don't think I've seen on BBC Two Northern Ireland (though apparently Black and White Copper Cut-Out was used on New Year's Day).

Can I assume that the ident package from 15 years ago has now been restored (ableit with a white or teal logo).

Have the BBC actually done what we wanted? Did they listen, and it wasn't just a 50th year sop?
