What's weird about it, apart from the hideous, but expected, teal boxed logo?

Its the movement of the optics it just doesn't seem like its from the original master copy. Remember Glasgow is a law upon its own but I dare say there have a more pragmatic view on using new pres.

If you mean the motion of the fibre optic strands is jittery, yes, I'd agree with you. It's the same with the network playout. But the NI version has it too.

I'm on mobile at the moment so can't comment on your new video, but what I'm referring to is the ident as broadcast. You can see slight juddering motion almost akin to that seen when film is transferred to video and there's a slight gate mis-alignment.
Couldn't tell from the screenshots, but I've just gone back on iPlayer and it's a special ident they used for their arts season or something like that a few months ago. That last screenshot looks almost identical to the old Animated 2 ident where the 2-shaped piano crashes through the floor.
