The current radio logos are pretty good in terms of consistency, the circle scheme works well when they're all shown together, especially good in the interface of the mobile app.
Although sometimes they can be abused

Sorry - me and my opinions can't shut up. NI did wonderfully with what they've got to work with.
Loving BBC Radio 2's usage of the orange circles. Sensational

The lack of a BBC Radio 0 didn't help matters.

The radio logos are to be commended - I just find it bizarre that when they're used on screen on a slide to promote a programme as part of a 'season' (the WWI commemoration springs to mind), the logo is juggled about, with BBC RADIO put all in one line ABOVE the numeral in the circle rather than to the left, leaving it looking bizarre and out of proportion.
Edit: found an example -

I was just browsing through the Twitter pages of Cambridge-based Radio stations with presenters who are members of TV Forum, when I came across this very similar image tweeted by Cambridge 105.

Going by the dates, the BBC clearly copied Cambridge 105's idea.

You'd think they would at least try to use a similar font for the other numbers, and make the numbers similar size to the '2'. Looks like a kid in primary school did it.

It's not an original idea, by that logic Cambridge 105 copied this idea from 2012

Ah yes, but Cambridge 105 also had the idea of having the baubles match the colour and name (anagrammatically) of the station, but not the font.
Has anyone noticed the gaps between the baubles in that image? Nobody likes visible gaps.

Neither of them is original, and actually they're very different. Plus knowing how some companies work around Christmas time, the BBC Radio 2 one could have been created in November for all we know. (Same for Cambridge 105)

It wouldn't be much work either, just pull out the old templates. But hey its BBC Two, we can't expect everything.
