I have found this webpage at BBC ONLINE. It gives all the regions and if you click on say BBC North West it gives you the transmitters which transmit it to yout TV. If you then click on the transmitter name, e.g Winter Hill, you get a table of places which it broadcasts to and other info, including the ITV company which broadcasts there!

What a find! James Ison will be pleased - BBC Regional Transmitters in UK

Also just to add, a great site that a few people may want to visit.

Its at http://www.wolfbane.com/

Click on the UK analogue TV reception predictor and enter your ordnance survey reference (can be found from www.streetmap.co.uk and it tells you about all the transmitters around you and how far they are away!

I use it for my DXing, so I can turn to the correct bearing. Great site!

I can just imagine that aerial on the roof swinging round when it gets closer to the regional news each day!!! Razz: Very Happy Wink

It does look a bit weird! We've certainly had a few inquiries off the neighbours! Very Happy

They thought that they were going mad or that Big Brother was watching them with a tiny camera in the end! Smile

I should have said that actually, had more fun from the situation. Wink

Itsrobert starts a thread that isn't about TV presentation.

What's more, there is a TV websites forum, so it should really be anywhere else, but not here.

Actually, you're wrong! We have drawn up some rules about where posts should be, and this is fine here. The TV website forum is only for webmasters to post about updates etc. to their website. As this is not a proper forum, any others should be posted here. Asa is considering changing that forum to a guestbook.

Where are these rules then?

I suspect you just made them up.

No, you don't need to know them - if you post in the wrong place, then the moderators will move it - its part of the job.
