Looks like every BBC TV programme is to be outsourced to the prolific Albert & Sustainable Productions.

On a more serious note, does this mean that the Albert+ logo will in the short term now appear at the end of all shows, before eventually disappearing as it's commonplace now?

This is good thing but... it does cost more for example to book trains then fly to Glasgow etc. Are they going to up the bugets to allow this? Daytime budgets are cut right to the bone. Stuff gets booked because its the cheapest not the greenest on certain shows.

I had a great idea of how to reduce the carbon footprint of the BBC's television services. Instead of basing different departments in separate locations, how about bringing them all together in one central location? A centre for television, if you like?

Though I would have thought that the only time that all of BBC TV was in one single location, it was Ally Pally!

I still can't look at the logo without thinking programmes were created by a formation of two studios called Albert and Sustainable.

Well the old joke used to go that TV Centre used to use a HUGE amount of energy to generate 2 x 1V signals...
