Nice to see that the logo in all the examples posted so far is the version with the BBC logo centred above the three pillars, rather than the one tucked in the corner.
I actually didn't notice that! But glad they've centred it.
In the Style Guide Framework section, there's an actual digit 3 used. I imagine that would have looked good as the 3 logo for the channel and would look great with a BBC logo above it. It also easily makes a good logo for an app icon etc. 2 also has its logo. If they brought back the 1 (or brought in a new style) for BBC 1 and made one up for FOUR, they could go back to having a numeral/logo/mascot for each channel. It would certainly help with creating a consistent look across their network and make them feel more connected again. The four separate channels are lacking a certain... what's the word... oneness?

I'd like to see BBC Four use the same "4"-with-a-quote-mark-in-it (or at least something quite similar) that BBC Radio 4 has.

Why not just have the IV or IIII as in Roman numerals? After all, the BBC still create copyright dates in this way.
Reviving quite an abandoned thread - but they've changed the BBC THREE intro sequence when shows are aired on ONE and TWO. Noticed it when watching some of This Country last night. Corresponds more closely to Studio Output's work, though it uses the same soundtrack introduced with the Red Bee rendition last year.
