I think they announced that the new 60 Seconds will have themed bulletins - and one of them will be a "How the news is being reported around the world" one - a bit like the 7 O'Clock News on BBC Three used to do.

Absolute tripe. The blobs were so much better than this rubbish. It's far too feminine looking in my opinion.

Well, out of last night's launch, we've seen three excellent idents and five stings, pitted against the worst in-vision announcing going, and a mish-mash of 'viewer' content. Oh, and a lot of pink...

The relaunch didn't go down too well in terms of audience share. Lily Allen barely scraped more than half of the average for the slot last year.

After such a well-publicised relaunch I would've expect a ratings peak for the night.
