I rather like it!! Makes the news all jolly & happy.
They could be onto a winner with this phoo action.

60 Seconds promises a look at News Channels around the world at 10pm.
I wonder if that will be a repeat of the one at 7pm?
As for the 60 Seconds presenter - she's dreadful. Has she even rehearsed what she's supposed to look professional doing? Every line seemed fluffed during the 9pm edition. As for calling the new drama 'Foof Action' at 7pm - was that why the anno over the end of 'Find Me the Face' said 'Phoo Action - yes you heard
me
right' ??!
1. The IVC link I saw looked like an old-fashioned Yorkshire Television continuity announcement from the 70s in front of a multi-coloured 2008 background. Very odd. And out of date.
2. The sound has been warbling for me as well - nice start.
3. It all looks bloody awful.
Judgment reserved on the programmes, which I've not seen - none appealed to me from descriptions - but the continuity and presentation is massively worse than it was.

Agreed, the pres has lost all cohesion and is just a mish mash of devices that don't work well together.
To think, the BBC stated that viewers considered the blobs to be too shouty. Watching Three tonight has felt like being slapped in the face with pink, tubes and cries of THREE!
Once again, Buzzy Bee has left me feeling underwhelmed.
I can't help thinking the BBC Three site would have been better off linking to the videos directly on iPlayer, instead of linking to the dull looking bbc.co.uk/programmes pages...

Probably. She's likes to ad lib like that and that's one of the reasons I like her as an annoucer. Sometimes I get the impression she doesn't like the fact that 60 Seconds presenters duplicate what she is paid to do; I don't either.
Oh good. I was hoping the BBC would spend the license fee on a glorified University student union channel. Tacky and pink. No. No. No.
What's with the in-vision continuity and lack of idents? It's not even live! Freeze-framing the image and fading slowly went out when they started editing on computers!
I can't say that i'm surprised, or that I care, but it's disappointing that it looks worse than something you'd find being slated in the Mocks Forum...
I'm not a fan of the new 60 Seconds either. I know people are loving this blue/green screen phase, but there was nothing wrong with the original, physical studio.
Plus, the timer coming out of the dog - nice idea, but when there's no markers (e.g. you know where the line is going to end) it's pretty much useless.
What happened to the news anyway? Do I care what some middle-eastern news channel is reporting?
