I don't get this. Is this a whole change to how BBC three runs, I via viewer submissions, or is this just for the continuity.
If it's just continuity I think it's clever. If the continuity is YouTube-ish, then 1) it will make contact very much with it's target audience, 2) it will be constantly changing and thus interesting and 3) cheap!
But surely the whole point of the likes of YouTube isn't the rubbish quality, whether it be seen as cult or whatever, but the quantity. The point is you can choose to watch whatever you want, whenever you want.
Broadcasting viewers' submissions in a YouTube style, if this is the point, is missing the point. It's the same mistake XFM made with XU. I don't want to listen to someone's programmed jukebox, I want to listen to my own.

A trailer on Three in what looks like the new style...
Will there be a skew to the female youth with the pink and purples, or will there be other colours to compliment. Also there appears to be a tube or tunnel theme
It wouldn’t surprise me there was a tunnel or circle based theme, it appears to fast becoming standard across the BBC. BBC one, circle theme, BBC Radio logos all in circles, BBC Four end boards moved from squares to a circular screen wipe… anyone else spotting the trend?
The circle in that screengrab above looks like the old Top Of The Pops logo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Top_of_the_Pops_2003.jpg).
Saw a short trailer on BBC Three last night that said something's changing, so I assume all these changes will indeed be on-screen as well as online then.
