Hold on there, I was just pointing him in that direction if he wanted to see other opinions on it, I don't give a crap to be honest, just trying to be helpful, so don't jump down my throat.

Fair enough and sorry.

It was just such a short post (which looked abrupt to me) that I assumed you were doing the Forum Thought Police thing that some people do.

I would have put something more along the lines of "Have you had a look at <such and such> topic in the Media Websites forum where this is also being discussed?"

Tone and intention don't always come across well in web communications.

Well thanks for not just ignoring my reply which many would have done, and I'll bare that in mind. Smile

BBC3's 60seconds presenters from Tuesday will be Five's Tasmin Lucia Khan - www.tasmin.tv (some nice photos there!) and Andy May who come's from BBC Radio and i imagine will be the BBC's youngest News presenter ever at just 20 years of age!

And indeed I think Andy will be the youngest ever network BBC TV newsreader at just 20.

Hmmm...it's like they're doing a Sumit Bose and Tazeen Ahmad all over again by having "fixed" presenters. Give me Alex or James any day...

Browsing on MediaGuardian and this video (an HMV ad) caught my eye... http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/video/2008/feb/08/hmv.valentines.day

Thought it was for BBC Three at first - the new logo shares a striking resemblance to the new HMV one when it's down in that bottom left corner.

To be fair, HMV has always used pink, they just changed from uppercase rounded, to lowercase rounded...

Well it's no surprise. I've no idea why BBC3 thought Lily Allen could be a chat show host.

Probably the same reason Channel 4 thought Charlotte Church could be a chat show host.

I like this bit in the comments section.

Quote:
Instead of relaunching rubbish why can't the BBC have a channel which all the family can watch. I'm sick and tired of wading through the multitude of channels trying to find a programme that doesn't force gratuitous sex and violence down my throat.

a) "Instead of relaunching rubbish why can't the BBC have a channel which all the family can watch" is a question, so a question mark should be used instead of a full stop.
b) Don't watch it then. Read a book. Use the Internet. Go to a restaurant or a park.

While Ms Allen is a talented lady, I don't think she'd be very good at holding the show together. Especially after a miscarriage.
