And 60 seconds' new look is damned good, really stunning

Quote:
In news, BBC Three's signature 60seconds bulletins will undergo a "total revamp", including the launch of a nightly World News programme looking at global events through the output of other news channels from around the world. Environmental issues will be frequently featured and special bulletins focusing on specific subjects including technology and sport will be scheduled.

They're going back on the decision of scrapping The News Show/The 7 O Clock News then! The facebook group 'BBC Three. It was the future of News' will be pleased. Surprised

I think the "World News Programme" may be a World News 60 Seconds? (Effectively similar to the old BBC Three News "Lets see what other news broadcasters around the world are reporting on" sequence - which was usually around a minute or so)

If you press red on BBC One at the moment you can watch Upstaged live streaming. Its some sort of reality show with two bands. One of the bands have a telephone and people keep calling in.

Sorry. I'm watching on Sky. It seems to be streamed online too.

Just on a technical note, the online stream is less than a second behind what I am seeing on Sky.

Just heard someone say "You have a 'coming up' trail in 1 minute" on one of the streams.

Interesting that the BBC are using Joomla! as the CMS for that site rather than something in-house.

The Lilly Allen and Friends website has also been updated in the style that is apparently going to become the standard for all BBC programmes:

It's relevant to this thread, Mr Forum Police Officer.

Not everyone immediately thinks to look in the Media Websites forum when discussion a rebranding/relaunching exercise for a channel.

Hold on there, I was just pointing him in that direction if he wanted to see other opinions on it, I don't give a crap to be honest, just trying to be helpful, so don't jump down my throat.

Fair enough and sorry.

It was just such a short post (which looked abrupt to me) that I assumed you were doing the Forum Thought Police thing that some people do.

I would have put something more along the lines of "Have you had a look at <such and such> topic in the Media Websites forum where this is also being discussed?"

Tone and intention don't always come across well in web communications.
