Does anyone know if BBC Three will be on ITV digital, and if so, will it be a free - to - air channel?
Also, does anyone know what is happening with BBC Choice, will it be replaced by Cbbebes, launching on February 11th?

BBC 3 will most definately be on ITV Digital, taking the place of BBC Choice. It will also definately be free to view as well, because you pay for all BBC channels with your licence fee - hence you can access all of them, not matter what package on what platform you are on.
The situation with the new CBBC channels is this - they will use the streams currently used by Choice and Knowledge between 6am and 7pm I think - but will be allocated to different numbers on the EPG, sort of like how ITN has it's own EPG number, but actually shares with one of the ITV Select streams.
So, on ITV Digital at least, BBC Choice / 3 will appear to be off air whilst the CBBC channel is breadcasting, and the other way around the rest of the time - most probably with little MHEG captions stating the on-air times instead of just a black screen.
From what I understand, Cbeebies will use the stream currently used by Knowledge and from March BBC4, and effectively the same will happen - one of the two channel numbers will appear to be off-air when the other is broadcasting.

Yes it funded by the licence fee, so it has to be available FTA on DTT

For the time being, we'll still have BBC Choice, Cbabies is only on during the morning/afternoon

Same answer as the first question, it will be launched in March
And... when is ITV Three to launch, and again, will it be on ITV digital? - WILL THIS BE A FREE - TO - AIR CHANNEL?!
Where did you get this from, ITV don't have enough decent output to have a ITV Three!

Where did you get this from, ITV don't have enough decent output to have a ITV Three!
