I'm not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me (watching BBC3 via TVCatchUp) but it appears BBC3 has finally made their DOG translucent.

Indeed it does look that way. I've noticed they're refreashed some of their presentation recently too, new menus and the ECP has a background again (rather than being plain).
