I meant nobody responsible for Def II knew what it meant. There's one theory that somebody had a Mercedes with a "DEF" switch on it and somebody thought it sounded good.
Def means cool, according to Urban Dictionary. So 'Cool 2'

Yes. The first 60 Seconds of the night had "RIP 2001-2016" on its closing slide. I imagine the rest of the bulletins will too.

Why would a channel with no linear output need a CA? It would be most unconventional.
I hope those continuity announcers won't be following the channel online.
I'll admit, I won't be mourning the loss of 60 Seconds.

Unless they are planning to wrap continuity around programmes on iPlayer, you'll be safe.
60 Seconds' look at worldwide news was good, if brief, you don't get that anywhere else.

I suspect that there WILL be continuity of sorts, using the recently tested trailer/promo features into and out of the online content.

I will miss 60 seconds. It's a nice burst of news, just what you need to catch up if you haven't had chance to see a full news bulletin or looked online/via an app.
I preferred it back in the day where they showed the different stories and then covered one from each section rather than a run down of entertainment one hour, sport another, etc.
