BBC Three returns to TV on BBC One

Pretty much highlights everything wrong with BBC branding in one screencap.

Something about that logo looks eerily familiar. Can't really put my finger on it...

What a mess of branding. And if someone was willing to crack the whip and get back to MLN's original guidelines, it wouldn't actually take a lot to sort it out.

In my opinion, there isn't anything fundamentally wrong with the logos, the problem is that they keep changing their mind about which way they want to go with presentation with completely different styles being used for trailers etc. I'm sure they have one (just that it doesn't seem to be followed), but I think they need to produce a clear set of branding guidelines that need to be used and followed by those producing elements of presentation and mistakes such as accidentally using an old logo or someone deciding on a new style of programme trailer just shouldn't be happening.

I'm not really sure what whoever produced that video was thinking, BBC Three has a logo and I see no reason for them to use a new one for this trailer. I think we probably all care far more than then most about these sorts of things, but I don't really think this inconsistency helps the BBC.

I can't believe they'd let it just sit on iPlayer without giving it a proper broadcast slot - regardless of what is said about how people view content these days.

Now this week has been axed I wonder if BBC Three on BBC One goes well they will have it on after question time maybe even graham Norton show?

I was not unnecessarily rude, since it was the truth. I agree he never had to apologise. I hates forums for one reason you can tell the tone of a post, maybe I should have put in It's clear you would rather have on this forum.
