BBC Three 7 O clock news set

Whats with all those screens on the BBC Three 7 o clock news set? I always thought they were showing what all the channels available to the BBC were showing... the screens are usually meant to show live programmes like on the Sky News set it shows some of the other Sky channels and their interactive services... but there always appears to be one showing what looks like coverage of a snooker match!

There's also one showing the BBC test card but of course that's available to the BBC whenever they want!

Very strange!

They're pre-recorded and looped, presumably random images recorded and editted together just before the programme launched.
