Brilliant. Love the Twitter banter. It's only a bit of fun, after all. Smile

The planned show from the T in the Park festival has been dropped, don't tell the bride is on instead. @BBCThree on Twitter citing technical problems.

BBC RB are showing T in the park right now, how can it be on there and not on Three if there are technical problems?
(FYI They eventually got on air at 9pm after the replacement show)

The red button had technical issues earlier. I guess if they were continuing they could just show content from yesterday instead.

pure speculation, but often they'll use one OB truck for the main show, and another for Red Button coverage. Problems with the main truck, maybe?

Was the BBC 3 programme meant to be highlights or live performances?

I get the feeling it both along with interviews.

The first 2 hours were recorded sets from earlier in the day plus interviews and the last 2 hours was the live broadcast of avicii's set and more highlights and interviews

Anyone else wish they'd just close BBC Three now and have done with it?

No, I just wish they'd only show things I like, and not show anything I don't like.

I wish they'd put some effort into their programming. Since they've moved all the good stuff to other channels and can't be arsed with the rest, they may as well.

It screams of Thames and TV-am circa 1992, they're just showing repeats and running it into the ground. All of the good stuff has gone, still plenty of late night Family Guy, and pretty much every evening there's Top Gear at 7 and Don't Tell The Bride at 8, inspiring.
