I read that BBC Three could be in run in parallel with BBC Three Online if the BBC Executive make revised recommendations within the next month including a costed proposal and timetable for migrated transition in a period of parallel running.

If an idea that promotes broadcasting the channel online and linear at the same time which will be seen as a very welcome idea.

It already does that, I can also do that with BBC one and Two, etc.

E4 rubs it in...

I'm not sure if this is E4's typically cheeky sense of humour or a protest over how silly it is, considering the "where nobody will see it" comment.

That comment isn't by E4.

Indeed, it was by the E4 continuity announcer.

Pretty sure @e4tweets is run by continuity.

E4 is played out by RedBee, from the same building as BBC Three. Not that that should mean anything here. Banter on Twitter between rival brands and businesses is reasonably common.

Back in ye olden days BBC presentation used to run the duty office, taking comments and complaints from the punters, I guess being involved in the Twitter feeds would be an extension of that.

Yep I think we're looking into this too deeply. And Steve is right, its common to see playful banter/rivalry between BBC1/2/3, E4, ITV & 2 on Twitter. Very Happy
