An elegant solution to that weekdays could be a BBC TWO +1 hour for the 6-7 hour (Eggheads etc)

Completely pointless and would be a scheduling nightmare to meet the junctions at weekends and when there's sport on.

At least with what's being planned at the moment, the BBC only have one junction on one channel they have to meet every day.

I'd be really surprised if BBC One +1 started at 9pm instead of 8pm. 8pm just makes common sense.

I can see the extended CBBC hours being dropped after the Trust consideration, The pressure to relocate BBX FOUR onto the universal coverage mux will be great, rather than show repeated programming in the one of five slots available everywhere on Freeview. The logical move would see

PSB 3 CBBC + BBC FOUR
COM7 CBeebies + BBC ONE +1.

CBBC deserves universal coverage too.

CBBC and BBC Four already have universal coverage.

BBC Two at a stretch but this is rediculous.

They're changing the format, it's mostly going to be older couples. To be fair I thought it would have been axed in its own right and picked up by the likes of Really/UKTV, ITVBe or TLC...

This is a bad decision, BBC Two would have been better.

BBC1 is a better place for it but only if the production values are upped a bit. It's always had that look of a cheap BBC3 show.

Don't Tell the Bride has mainstream potential if the format is tinkered with a tiny bit.

Which highlights exactly how important it is that BBC3 is saved.

IF BBC continues to add 90mins worth of new content per day there will be no cut, but I get the feeling it will just be one new show since half of the new content is already moving to other bbc channels.
