I think to most people they are still annoyed by the fact it replaced King of the Hill.

I think E4 has a chance of picking it up, considering they hold the rights to The Cleveland Show. I doubt Channel 5 would have a go, although ITV might give it a shot if ITV4's focus changes enough.

Hasn't The Cleveland Show been axed in the US?

Must admit, I saw about 10 episodes of The Cleveland Show and gave up on it - for me the humour never matched the quality of Family Guy or American Dad.

Its steadily got better, the latest series has been great.

Cleveland is hilarious. It took about a dozen episodes to find its feet.

Viewers of Family Guy and American Dad must surely have seen those shows start off unsteadily and then improve massively - for some reason unbeknownst to me they don't think Cleveland will do the same.

Which is illogical.

Funnily enough, I asked someone what it was like, and they said that it took about 10 episodes before it was good.

BBC Three is turning into the UK version of Fox, first The Fades, then Lip Service and now Being Human has faced the axe.

If you read between the lines in show runner Toby Whithouse's blog post

and his recent tweet,

it seems to indicate he was pushed out by BBC Three

Being Human has lost nearly half its audience over the last 2 years and should have finished last year when the last of the original cast left. Nobody ever watched Lip Service.
BTW due to DQF the BBC 3 had to cut down on drama anyway from three dramas a year to two.

In the Flesh is one of the two for this year.

It should have never been moved from Bristol to Wales, just to satisfy politics.

It was pretty obvious that Being Human wouldn't get to series 6 with the reduced commission this year and slashing to virtually nothing for BBC3 drama. That said it's probably for the best - though the first phase of the recast worked superbly last year IMO and Tom and Hal were far more watchable than the George and Mitchell of Series 3. Jury is still out on the new ghost - I never rated Annie much in the first couple of years but she really shone last year and had much more of a purpose in the show with the new cast than with the original, so is now a tough act to follow.

Recently (I think) BBC three have been doing quite well with their new comedy series , such as Bad education,Cuckoo , some girls and pramface , All which have been commissioned for a second series (pramface already in it's second. I'm not sure about cuckoo but apparently the first episode of that show was BBC three's most viewed comedy launch since bad education. To me this is the right way to go in fresh new comedy , all of the shows mentioned have been popular with teens including myself and friends Exclamation

A second series of Cuckoo has been confirmed over the last couple of days. I guess they see comedy as more important to BBC3 than drama as they still seem to have one new scripted comedy on virtually every week.

I believe I read somewhere that BBC3 were focusing more on comedy drama than dramas?

Not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere, but tomorrow is BBC Three's tenth birthday; then three days later it'll be exactly five years since the channel's relaunch and the demise of the blobs.

Indeed the Radio Times is running one of its polls on favourite BBC Three shows

There is ofcourse only one that has been there from the very start... and is still going...

That must be 60 Seconds, I think? The Radio Times list seems a bit biased towards more recent times, with some programmes which have only just started and hardly anything from the first couple of years. There's no Liquid News for a start (all right, for most of its life it was a BBC Choice show, but it was an important part of the BBC Three schedule at the beginning).
