After 'Young Apprentice' tonight on BBC One, there was a trailer for BBC Three, which ended with 'All new BBC Three', and 'Coming soon'. Is there an impending rebrand? The promo end boards haven't been the originals for a while.

It would be an odd move, considering it's probably the channel least in need of a new look. *cough* BBC Two *cough*

I'm sure there was talk of a rebrand on Point's Of View a while back, because I distinctly remember them saying that also Family Guy would be getting axed from the new schedules.

That won't go down too well, granted they over rely on it, but it still draws in the viewers for BBC3 especially given the time of night it's on.

I did think it as well when I saw the advert, but from the clips shown within the promo - it seems it's just for new shows/series to BBC Three.

Family Guy's future on BBC Three is "debatable", according to the channel's controller Zai Bennett.
Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival today, Bennett told journalists that rights for the popular US animated comedy, which come to an end in [2013], would not be renewed at "any price".
With regards to BBC Three rebrand, may be some temporary thing bearing in mind the channel is 10 years old, Feb 9th.
