I've noticed that BBC3 has a new announcer now, seems like Lola Buckley's being phased out. I believe its Jose Vanders who did the in-vision links from last year.

There was a new male announcer a few weeks ago who wasn't terribly good. I don't watch enough BBC Three to know whether he's been heard since.

The male seemed to only last a few days, possibly covering for Lola. If the new female, be it Jose or someone else, is taking over the announcing role, it would appear she is being phased in as over the past few days it's been a mix of both her and Jose, with more announcements gradually changing. I'm glad to hear new announcers on Three, as great as Lola is, having her non stop since the rebrand was starting to get a bit tired.

Last night was Lola Buckley's final night on BBC Three.
Her final announcement at the end of the night was:
"We head off to France to film a little action sequence or two in Merlin: Secrets and Magic as our last stop of the night now on BBC Three, and as it's my last night on BBC Three, I bid you farewell"
The new announcer is Collette Collins:
