A Youtube member says she had an asthma attack. Crap source but it's a possibility.
OMG She ad a azma attakc, i no cos i get them 2
Yes. I'm sure its a reliable source.
Another YouTube comment says orgasm, so I'm not sure what to believe now. At least this finally proves once and for all that the BBC knew about 9/11 before it happened and it was all a cover up.
Where is 60 Seconds broadcast from? And where would she have been running from?
I could be wrong, but I'm sure someone said it's broadcast from the interactive newsroom or something, certainly the same place the BBC One news updates (excluding the 8pm) are broadcast from?!?!
The interactive newsroom is now the same newsroom as the rest of the TV and Radio operation I believe (the Multimedia Newsroom) - so that's a red herring.
The bulletins are broadcast from a small studio (or broom cupboard) very close to the News Channel studio and also close to the editing facilities, with a transmision gallery next door, also housing the entertainment news loop edit suite.
(The gallery is in what used to be the tape playout area for the studios making the One/Six/Ten and Breakfast/Working Lunch/Newsround/Newsnight etc. prior to them shifting to server playout)
It is a two person operation - the presenter loads and rolls their own autocue, sets their camera shot, chroma key backing and masking, and lighting. The producer vision mixes, sound mixes, runs the astons and runs the VT - as well as writing and producing the bulletin...
I prefer "Daily Fail" [although, technically, it would be the Fail on Sunday here]
And how come 60 Seconds bulletins aren't pre-recorded anyway? Given noggin's explanation above, the CSO "studio" is clearly equipped to do so for the "interactive" loops, the format hardly allows for breaking news - and at one minute long, getting it word-perfect would be more important than in a longer bulletin.
Trying to perform the script for something like 60 Seconds, which is very past paced, would be almost impossible if you were even slightly out of breath. Such a tight script leaves very little room for breathing and no room to pause to catch your breath within the 60 seconds of air time. I feel sorry for her, it's a horrible sensation... they did the right thing by moving the schedule on.
