Did anyone see BBC Three's 60 Seconds at 10:45?

It started pretty normally with the titles, then we heard Tasmin out of breath just breathing heavily. About ten seconds in she said "Hey, I'm Tamsin here are the latest global headlines on Three.." she then paused and was breathing heavily again, her mic then made a lot of noise and then it just cut to a BBC One trailer.

Not the first time 60 Second's has screwed up IIRC?

Not at 10.45 she wouldn't, considering her bulletin on the News Channel occurs around 9.30pm.

Sounds like she whispers 'no' at about 00:06 and then there is frantic mouse clicking before she throws the mic down just before the BBC One promo. I wonder why she wasn't in vision.

Changing the subject for a minute but it's been announced this week due to budget cuts BBC3 will be airing more repeats, but it's claimed they will mainly be in the 7-8pm and post-midnight slots? Aren't those pretty much all repeats now anyway?

Presumably because the director/producer could see that she was still trying to put on her mic and was mouse-clicking to load her prompter to read? (Sounds like she got their late without a hard copy script, couldn't load the Autoscript on time and couldn't adlib the stories - as it was a more eclectic international news channel segment? First rule of live presenting is ALWAYS have a hard copy script unless you are convinced you can coherently adlib it all even in the worse situations)

Blimey she must have been belting down the corridor to get there!

Computer probably screwed up is the obvious answer. Considering she was clicking like mad - we've all been there.

That's why presenters should always have a hard copy... (And if they are responsible for printing it then they should make sure they do...)

Would clicking like mad leave someone out of breath?
