BBC Text

The new BBC text went live some time in the last couple of hours.
Basically, rather than going straight to the full screen service, you get a superimposed menu strap at the bottom of the screen, which has a Now/next service (info from the EPG), and a News/Sport/Weather/Lottery headlines page (although you can't seem to get from the headlines direct to the individual stories, which is a bit of a shame).

Pressing blue takes you straight to BBC text.

I think its quite nice, though I still hope they don't switch off Ceefax for some time yet..

Does this work for ITVd?

Try pressing the 'TV Plus' button on Neighbours on BBC1.......the 3 pages of 'info' seem pretty tenuously linked to the programme.

Its similar to the ITV digital BBC Knowledge service, but its about all programmes, i'm sure this is linked to BBC's Autumn Schedules, promising several interactive programmes and games, for programmes like:

Top of the Pops
Question of Sport
Weakest Link

....

Hey, I better check this out pronto!

At first I thought Sky Text's little pic was better, but I think I might prefer this...we'll soon see!
