What's is with the BBC, they have computerised Pudsey (again), they did it with the original, and now with this, last years affect was better, but not liking it.
So The One Show was basically them trying to make Matt Baker into David Walliams. I'm not sure at all about these big celeb led stunts for Comic Relief, Sport Relief and Children in Need - seems to have taken the emphasis away from the general public doing their bit when it comes to fundraising.

I get what you're saying re: Walliams. What he's raised is wonderful and I wouldn't wish to take that away from him, but sometimes it seems, er.. a little self indulgent (if you can consider swallowing Thames water in such a way).
But Matt Baker has something so completely charming and humble about him that I think it worked great.
