This is pretty annoying switching from BBC One HD to BBC One. At least ITV1 have HD regions.

Well, only two in England and Wales.

Three; Granada, Central and London.

Four; Granada, Central and London. And Meridian.

Six, if you want to be technical; Granada, Central, London, Meridian, UTV and STV.

Brownies climbing a climbing wall, another way to raise money. At least the climbing wall will be usable by someone else another time.

Not like sitting in a bath of baked beans. Even if you wear swimming trunks to cover the area around your bottom and between your legs, it would surely still be unhygenic eating the baked beans after someone's been in them. Might that person be sweaty beforehand, or get sweaty whilst you sit in the beans, therefore contaminating the beans unfit for consumption?

You, stop it, right now or you can go sit on the naughty step.

Yes, I believe the climbing wall will be broken down and made in to fire wood for a local orphanage. The wall should keep them warm for the rest of the winter.

I don't think anyone would be sweaty in a bath tub full of baked beans. When you have a long bath, you may have noticed that it eventually gets cold. Now, a bath full of baked beans would start off at room temperature at best and the person sitting in them would be rather chilly before very long. The last thing they will be doing is sweating. I wouldn't eat baked beans that someone had been sitting in, but I'm sure a hungry orphan such as TV's Tracy Beaker would be very happy with a whole bath tub full of baked beans.

Now Steps are performing bits of various songs, starting with "One For Sorrow". That's an oldie now, circa 1998.
When their act was announced "Now Steps 5, 6, 7, 8" I thought they were going to sing "5, 6, 7, 8" as used for the national line dance in CIN 1997.

I have always liked Steps. I am so glad they are performing their old songs and not coming out with loads of new stuff. They could have been on for a bit longer though. It's Lee Latchford Evans I feel sorry for. Steps have always been quite camp which is fine for a woman or a homosexual man but Lee Latchford Evans is neither of those things. I bet 5ive bully him.

London aren't opting-out, they're just continuing the feed - I watched some of the HD feed last year and it's right outside TV Centre, so basically (and sorry if this is obvious) the regions are just opting in over the feed and then cutting back to the national feed, whereas London can fade themselves out to the wide shot outside of TVC.

London this time round were at Hyde Park rather than TVC, yet I'm sure I saw them switch to a brief shot of a group signing just before the wide TVC shot just before 8pm.

I'm glad you like Steps too. They had a good medley of old hits, but I'd sooner they'd just sung one song e.g. "One For Sorrow" in its entirety.

Since then we've had The Saturdays and now we've got light hearted news. They're doing the bit where the Cubs wanted to eat their fast food on Revolution at Blackpool Pleasure Beach courtesty of Jim'll Fix It.
