I know what you mean about the photos, they do get boring after a while.
I think they might do some soon, they need some for Kelly Osbourne (well, there's plenty of her around, but you know) and a proper one for Greg James. Does anybody know when the last lot were taken?
Switch ain't that bad, missed the TV stuff, and I have to be honest Radio 1 is pretty good. I normally listen to Annie's Sunday Show, and it's fairly similar, but with more guests.
No surprise the first complaint is about the DOG - even worse than when BBC Three changes theirs.
Also, surely a DOG saying "switch" is just sub-consciously telling people to do just that - though with this Falcon Beach trash, I don't think any subliminal messages is necessary.
they just choose to waste it on administrative non-essentials.
...........And Peter Fincham! .....oh Yeah, he's gone! Maybe if Channel controllers were on minimum wage struggling to pay their TV tax like Thousands of us in the UK, they might think more carefully before opening their mouth, oh and about commissioning yet MORE singing/dancing/reality show living on an island c**p, and the less the BBC pay them lot, the more money they have for decent programmes.
Though to be fair Peter Fincham wasn't doing it for the money. He made millions (10s of millions I believe) when Talkback was sold a few years back.
The truth is that quite a few of the people in senior positions at the BBC would earn more elsewhere (they aren't there because they can't get jobs in other companies - many have and then have chosen to return. Jana Bennett, Peter Salmon etc.) The jobs at the BBC may pay less - but they are more enjoyable to do.
Damn you BBC Switch - TV execs know what we think about DOGs yet they still inflict them on us. I think in this instance it was more reasonable not to expect one, however, given that CBBC do not brand their BBC1 and BBC2 output and with BBC Switch technically a "stablemate" to CBBC we weren't expecting this.
It kind of added to segregating the teen content from the schedule too. Teens - as do adults - want to watch what they want to watch, not what they're told to watch, and the way the BBC have gone about branding this is just an insult really. It certainly is no T4.
BBC Switch isn't going to get the following shows used to in the 6-7.30pm slot on BBC2 with shows like Buffy and Heartbreak High in the nineties.

No, they know your opinion. Not everybody shares it.

CBBC brand their main strand, the channel. Switch on BBC Two is Switch's main strand, so it figures.
