Hi everyone,

Wasn't sure which forum to put this in, so I'll just plonk it here. Anyway, It's time for the official, annual BBC Support quiz. Take the quiz, and pop your results in this thread - a special prize goes to anyone who *honestly* gets over 90%!

58%, but for most of the questions there wasn't really an answer which reflected what I felt so I put the nearest thing.

The blurb of the result was right though.

By the way do you know the first image in your signature never works?

I just took it then and I got 55%, telling me that I do support the BBC at times, but I am not that loyal. Though the problem was that there wasn't a fourth option, on the lines of "I Couldn't care.."

Apparently I support them but put friends and family before the BBC - like any normal person I would think!

I got 39%, but would easily have gone lower and lower. My blurb says that I regard the BBC channels as equal to other tv channels and that I'm at the beginning of the long and winding path of support to the BBC and that I must keep walking.

No, that's wrong. The only decent programmes on BBC clash with the best programmes on ITV, I much prefer ITV News and their quality of journalism and am walking backwards on that path of support; is this their way of getting viewers? There is nothing to open my eyes to on the BBC.

Well that says more about than you than it does about the BBC. BBC One is now the most popular TV channel and the BBC as a whole produce a much more varied and dare I say intelligent output than the dumbed down nonsense that ITV churn out these days.

The quality of journalism is also much greater on the BBC (and Sky) and they put their news on at a consistent time every evening, something ITV fail to do for their late bulletin which is a pale shadow of the excellent but now sadly departed News at Ten. The BBC is by no means perfect by a long way but I find ITV unwatchable these days. Which is a shame because until about ten years ago it was easily my favourite channel. Now I don't watch it at all, ever.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I got 73%.
