Good old "BBC" would do. This just makes it too easy to sell off the production side of the business down the track.

The name and captioning doesn't do that in itself but the spinning off of it does.

There's no plans at the moment apparently, and I'd have thought anything like that would depend on how well it does making and selling programmes once it can next year

I have to say, it is a shame that the location tag has been dropped from the end of the endboards. It was nice to see where programmes where produced, and now without it things seem much more generic.

Is it just me that thinks the Points of View and One Show (studio) end graphics could look more visually pleasing. They seem a bit messy.

I'm more confused about why Points of View has a BBC Northern Ireland credit. Is it actually made in Belfast now?

It has been made by a BBC Northern Ireland production team based in Belfast for a while now, but Jeremy's links are shot in London. (Just like Sunday Morning Live is made in The One Show studio in London by a BBC Northern Ireland team)

I appreciate sustainability is important to the producers, but I don't think the "albert+" badge is doing much for the viewers. You don't see "The BBC is an equal opportunities employer" or whatever at the end, so I don't think this logo is really needed. In fact, when I first saw it I assumed it was a production company/partner or something.

I think the difference is that the BBC is an equal opportunities employer across the corporation. Only some productions are meeting Albert+, and those that do get the logo. Hopefully once all productions meet it, then it will be redundant.

I got exactly the same impression. I thought, "wow, Albert & Sustainable are certainly getting around."

Of course "Albert and Sustainable" also co produce Coronation Street these days as well. Very Happy

I just find it slightly annoying that they've gone with the ...studios suffix, just like ITV. What was wrong with ...productions as a suffix.

As they've also dropped the regional location name from the production credit, there should be uproar round these parts like when ITV went from Granada Manchester productions etc to ITV Productions.

Just playing around with this idea. What The One Show endcap would look like if it was 1997.

i agree, BBC STUDIOS is banal.

what worries me is that if the bbc does spin it's production arm off as a separate company, the very soul of the bbc will be gone.

i don't think there's much of it left any more now.

And the Tories will have achieved their aims...
