Well in the other thread, we learnt that this will not be the case [although it was for the last two junctions in Wales -- not sure about NI in ten mins].
Surely therefore, merging threads would've enabled you to learn this too?

A quirk in scheduling by the sounds of it , probably would have happened if there wasn't a strike.

Will any programmes on Radio 2 be affected? I wouldn't cope without Ken Bruce and Steve Wright in the Afternoon. I manage to pull through when they're on holiday though.

I should think they'll be a recorded show 'in the can' so to speak.

Not necessiarly. A few years ago in the days of the 90 second News 24 countdown. There has been occasions where they've had five minutes to play with in which they panned out the gap with several trailers,a longish ident and the 90 second countdown.
