A little odd - a BBC NEWS overlay complete with www.bbc.co.uk URL on BBC1 for the 10, yet nothing at all on News 24.

I think it's being added by BBC1 presentation I've seen them do this once in the past when News 24 went to a recorded repeat.

Understandable if it was to cover over the News 24 logo - but it's not at the moment.

A sign off from Stephen and a sudden cut into Regional news on the 10.

Is that the Radio 1 breakfast sports presenter (Chappers?) doing a football phone-in on Radio 5? Would make sense seeing as Moyles and his team ignored the strike.

Either way the BBC appear to be gradually getting some sort of live service going on most networks now, albeit skeleton.

Mark Chapman presents Sport on Five occassionally. Nothing new there. (Just like how Radio 1's DJ Spoony presents 6-0-6, the football phone-in, every Wednesday)

Has anyone got a video of the closing on the BBC LONDON late bulliten please? It would be much appreciated!

I thought it hillarious as she was shuffling her papers for what seemed ages while the music was running, checking the monitor to see if she was off air every 5 seconds or so and when she had finised putting her papers down and stared at the camera because the closing graphics failed. Classic!

This was supposed to be the thread for the non news aspects of the strike, but there hasn't really been any has there?

The unions were aiming for as close to blank screens as possible wern't they?

If you missed all the news bulletins, you wouldn't have noticed any difference!

I take it BBC Broadcast did end up operating with a near normal staff level today then?

As far as radio goes... it was particularly surreal hearing Alan Dedicoat doing the news on BBC 6 Music.

And right now on BBC Essex, I've got some unknown bloke going out across the region linking between songs and explaining there are still technical problems. Should be Keith Skues from Radio Norfolk - the webcam suggests he's in the studio, but I ain't hearing him. I presume this bloke's coming from 3CR instead.

Have no idea if that problem has anything at all to do with the strike though!

BBC1 Scotland showed a full Bollywood at 11:05pm. Not sure if this is strike-related...

...oh, and, Sky Guide lists a closedown on BBC2 at 12:20am, but Ceefax doesn't. Can't see it happening.

They think it's all over....it is now!

Thank goodness for that. I'm dreading next week.

I'm unsure, I would probably doubt it - Shown here, The announcer was in after 6 seconds quickly giving details about tommorow's, and the current film, no major gap or any faults in cont. ...

Also, another silent (no soundtrack) BBC TWO Ident, this time the version of Logo used into BBC FOUR programming

A vaguely named slot called "This Is BBC TWO" is on the TWO site, with a related link to BBC News. So I'm guessing it's just news of some sort.
