Yeah I would have thought that myself. But if the Continuity announcers are on strike as well then I don't see them crossing the picket line just to do the news junction.

I'm a bit confused. I don't know about the other nations (Wales and N.I) but in Scotland we have been following network at least until 6pm for the news. So why did they follow the network for the begginning of the day?
