BBC One

CBBC One Showing Newsround Extra (recorded) instead of usual live Newsround.

BBC What's On website says now should be a regular NR - not extra.

The website must be a bit wrong. Newsround Extra was always scheduled to run today...hence the 5.20 billing (not 5.25).....sheer good luck, though.

BBC ONE (West) News 6pm - Ident

Note a glimpse of Tai Chi at the start - and then in the blink of an eye it changes to Capoeira for the rest of the duration - don't know what happened there...

Sorry if this has been mentionned but the EPG has inally been updated at it says that "My Family" will replace the regional news at 6:30.
The information bit on the EPG says "This programme replaces regional news because of industrial action by some members of the broadcasting unions".

In the Midlands we just got the network ident. Could this mean that Points West are going to opt out, and Midlands Today are not?

Oooh, well BBC Scotland's managing to get regional trails and announcements on air now on BBC ONE. This follows a day of network only announcements.

Did you see the BBC Scotland picket line on Scotland Today. An unshaven James Cook was there and appeared to be shouting at someone in a car crossing the picket line .

That was network BBC One I think, so it must've been a second late at opting out Confused

I'm a bit confused. I don't know about the other nations (Wales and N.I) but in Scotland we have been following network at least until 6pm for the news. So why did they follow the network for the begginning of the day? Confused Confused

Because there was no one in to do the junctions, presumably.

Yeah I would have thought that myself. But if the Continuity announcers are on strike as well then I don't see them crossing the picket line just to do the news junction.

I noticed that Wales and N.I. are still on air Confused
