Does anyone have a plan on the layout of stage six, where bbc news is based?

I'm sure even if someone did they would not make it public information in the current climate. With everyone at the BBC so security conscious that they do not want studio numbers printed a map would be surely be even worse.

I think it's purely confidential if the BBC release information about studio layouts etc. If you want a layout you might have to write to them.

Yes, in the current situation - it is asked that we don't name studio's by their official names due to security risks. As Steve said, a map would be no better.

You might get some luck by writing or emailing them personally, but I dare say they would give you the same response.

What a stupid question!

Tell you what... Tell us where you live, and how to get there, then the best place in your home to plant a bomb to do most damage, then we'll still not tell you!

Grow up!

It's a very small piece of the building and most of it is open plan anyway so a map would be a bit pointless.

Besides only 1 of the TV news studios is in Stage 6, the rest are somewhere else

Oh and I don't really understand this thing about not using studio names, just giving the names out doesn't locate them, especially as they don't have numbers on the outside anyway!

Nor me, but I'm happy to respect the request! Smile

Yes, regardless of the probability of an associate of Bin Laden visiting this forum, it maybe isn't the most appropriate question to ask in the current time.

Feel free to open a thread generally on BBC News, if you wish.

Cheers, Asa
