I don't know if the BBC did it, but in the mid-nineties C4 and C5 at least often reduced the credits to a small box to generally promote a video or book or something.
I really like how the background isnt just swirls, the one I saw was kites. It looked good, IMO anyway. Im glad they arent using it at every point possible though. I like the animation of the boxes on/off too.
Good to see centre aligned credits again, especially where the ECP isn't shown. I do agree that this is a step back in time, but seeing the new bbc1 ECP on bbc1 last night on Eastenders it doesn't look that bad IMO.
Sorry, the ECP doesn't look too bad, but I can't see the credits because they've been reduced to the size of a postage stamp. What's wrong with using a slug? C4 manage fine at the end of
The Simpsons
with that, and occasionally the announcer doing a voiceover.
