Frankel and/or Sir Henry Cecil may also get a call up of some sort too.
Mind you, only if they can beat off competition from the Daley Thighs.

The problem is there has been too many sporting achievements in 2012!
Bradley Wiggins: 1st ever Brit to win the Tour de France + Gold at the Olympics
Mo Farah: 2 long distant gold medals+ the first ever Brit to get gold in the 10,000
Jess Ennis: Gold Medal in the heptathlon with a fantastic time in the hurdles+ she's the poster girl
Andy Murray: Gold and Silver Olympic Medals + His first Grand Slam win
David Weir: 4 Gold Medlas to add to his impressive medal collection
Ellie Simmons: 2 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 bronze at London 2012, many in record times.

In hands?
LOL. It's interesting too how the jockey, Tom Quealey, hasn't really made a name for himself despite riding Frankel in all his victories.
Of the list on Odds Checker though I'd go for:
Bradley Wiggins
Andy Murray
Mo Farah
Jessica Ennis
David Weir
Ellie Simmonds
Lord Sebastian Coe
Heather Watson
Rory McIlroy
Ian Poulter
Chris Hoy
Ben Ainslie
Lewis Hamilton
Jonnie Peacock
Charlotte Dujardin
Sarah Storey
Tom Daley
Victoria Pendleton
Alistair Brownlee
Greg Rutherford
Jason Kenny
Katherine Grainger
Laura Trott
Nicola Adams
John Terry
Alistair Cook
Amir Khan
Andrew Strauss
With the final two spaces pretty much a fight between the remaining Olympians and Rory McIlroy. I do feel though he BBC will put in a couple of non-Olympians for the sake of it.

Mo Farrah (due respect) did no more than several others have done previously at the olympics, gold at the 5k and 10k at the same olympics......Good personality(which counts) although as an overall achievement, I would put others ahead of him. If like Lasse Viren for example(double gold at 5k and 10k in 1972 and 1976), he defends these golds in Brazil, that would be a special achievement (and I hope he does)
That all said, if I was a gambler, I would have a fiver on Jessica Ennis.......and another fiver on a special award for Seb Coe
I better stop as this is a tv forum and not a sports one.
