BBC Sport Olympic Sting

The one which started as normal, just ended with the Olympic Rings and BBC Sport underneath before the opening titles.

Wonder why they have not bothered for Salt Lake City?

(And in the tradition of this forum, I have the answer - the BBC are changing their graphics during this period (i.e. the next two weeks) so decided it would be worthless using a special sting for half of the Olympic output before it was replaced by a new one)

Interesting - is this a completion of the revamp we've seen to the presentation of things like Grandstand over the past six months or so, were all the astons etc appear with a slight 3D effect, or a complete overhaul like in April 1999 and also for the European Championships in 1996?
