Just a shame that the old BBC Sport logo is being used on the stage...

Seen the new graphics in use on the Darts last night, looked well, love that there's still a dart count and a dart by dart score although it would have been nice to see this scroll up as opposed to just blink change.
Has that generic BBC Sport replay wipe been used in any other sport yet? The pattern seems to match what's behind presenters in the Match of the Day studio.

Well BBC Northern Ireland are using the block style graphics still!
Same with the women’s football, all new graphics but desk with the old logo.
Edit: Technical problems with the football went to black and then breakdown slide. Back now.

BBC NI while improving their graphics over the past few years are a mish mash of styles. Tonight they are using the block graphics and had been for football and GAA for Ulster Rugby before they started using the new graphics package across all broadcasters sometimes they had the block style for during the game and they had the 2014 style for half time and features during the match. For the North West 200 this year they had the 2014 style and for Final Score from NI and the Irish League Show they are using the new 2017 BBC Sport style. You never know what you are going to get when watching a BBC Sport NI sporting event.

So which Manchester is which?
Half-time in the 19:45 kick-offs in tonight's #CarabaoCup - no shocks on the cards at the moment.

Finally saw the new Sports Generic menu, it looks like the screen wipe. A pic to be added shortly- hopeful.

Would definitely make sense for them to shorten Manchester to Man there. The other half of the names would fit on then. If they don't fix it, it'll be a problem when they play each other.

At the risk of reigniting the debate about the branding of nations, I don’t understand why it needs to be BBC Sport Scotland branding on the Great Scottish Run coverage today and not just BBC Sport. I could maybe understand (but not completely) if it was just broadcast in Scotland, but what purpose does it serve?
Despite that, the graphics are looking smart.

Interesting to note BBC Sport Scotland branding on national coverage of the Great Scottish Run. Guess it makes sense with it being a BBC Scotland production, but would've thought they would use national branding if it was being shown nationally.
